In this work, territorial boundaries in the UAE, often thought of as fixed and concrete, reveal themselves to be fluid. Through a sculpture that merges road emblems into a central form where elements are indistinguishably woven together, these works challenge the soft separations between the Emirates and invite viewers to engage with the idea of borders as flexible rather than fixed, and as evolving relational constructs. Artist books and materials library thats been collected is placed strategically within inconspicuous spaces in the Jameel Library shelves further invite the viewer to engage with the unseen and overlooked, mirroring the hidden connections and borderlines that bind the Emirates.
